Brought my Honda Prologue EV into the dealership to have a simple recall update applied. Honda's update completely bricked my car and won't turn on anymore. Wow... Wonder how many people will be sitting in the dark and stuff not working suddenly and not realize it's because their "smart home" product has stopped working. Announced awhile back, but... still.
WEMO: "After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end technical support for older Wemo products, effective January 31, 2026. After this date, several Wemo products will no longer be controllable through the Wemo app. Any features that rely on cloud connectivity, including remote access and voice assistant integrations, will no longer work. So my #Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen9 randomly turned off today and now it just does this. LED next to the charging port turns off then briefly blinks orange, goes back to white and then it blinks the esc, f1, and f4 buttons.
Occasionally it turns on and mentions a bios recovery or i even get to the boot menu but tends to quickly power off again.
Anyone knows if that is salvageable or what the issue might be?

#Roku is the same Company that #bricked everyone's devices until they agreed to Roku's #ForcedArbitration because they had a #DataBreach and didn't want anybody to sue them over it.
Roku is so beyond dead to me. I used to have a Roku device in every single room of my house. Not any more. I wouldn't trust that Company to spell my name right. Shady company run by even more shady executives.
