I did what I said that I would do yesterday, I trimmed my sidewalks and driveways. But I had a lawnmower man moment while trying to start my edger. It took me about a half hour of fiddling with it and pulling on the starter cord, before finally checking the fuel level - embarrassing even when it was only me and Charlie.
One of my mantras is "do what you say you are going to do," and if you're not going to do it don't say you will. In short, it's called being dependable. It's also common curtesy. I'm incredibly annoyed when somebody says they will show up at a certain time on a certain day and they don't show up and don't call to say they aren't coming or that they will be late, etc. What do you think?
