  1. Then simplify. Spend time in #nature. Spend time without constant noise. Spend time feeling your #body as part of the world, not separate from it. If #naturism resonates, let #nudity become a practice of #equality, #honesty, & directness. Let the #body be ordinary again. Let shame fall away. Let comparison fall away. Let the wind teach what books cannot. (53/54)

  2. Demanding Customer Rights and Business Accountability

I think the restaurant staff who were rude need to be held accountable. Not the customer who was defending their rights, including regarding refunds because of the restaurant's failure to fulfil orders. Never blame the victim. Victims do not need to stay away from the restaurant. It is the staff who need to be held accountable, and customers need to be informed of the accountability measures taken. What do you think? Maybe you still remember which restaurant.

  3. The Reality of Modern Isolation and Connections

Someone: "Men don't try any more"

    Me: "They said:"

    • "I don't need a man."
    • "Men are rubbish."
    • "Take a look at this screenshot. This guy is single, and I'm not responsible. Blocked."
    • "I will marry later. Right now I am focused on studies and career."
    • "This guy is ugly, and I will blame him for making me uncomfortable. I like this other guy who's handsome. Look at this picture."

That someone: "Now, it makes sense.

Me: "Oh, I didn't mention this one yet. The parasocial industry promotion is taking advantage of broken-hearted and lonely men. We don't know if it's the real person messaging or a simulation of quick, fast-burning relationships."

Me: "Also, I didn't mention that some people just didn't reply to messages but were at the same time claiming we are friends (parasocial)."

  11. Jargon-filled leadership language confuses teams, slows decisions, and corrodes credibility
    powerofusnewsletter.com/p/what
Corporate jargon masks truth to impress but erodes #trust and hinders organizational decision-making. Defined as an indifference to reality, #bullshit prioritizes making an impression over factual accuracy. This communication style creates an illusion of meaning that confuses teams and wastes resources. To counteract this, organizations must foster intellectual #honesty and prioritize precise #language.

  13. A quotation from Abraham Lincoln

There is a vague popular belief that lawyers are necessarily dishonest. I say vague, because when we consider to what extent confidence and honors are reposed in and conferred upon lawyers by the people, it appears improbable that their impression of dishonesty is very distinct and vivid. Yet the impression is common, almost universal. Let no young man choosing the law for a calling for a moment yield to the popular belief — resolve to be honest at all events; and if in your own judgment you cannot be an honest lawyer, resolve to be honest without being a lawyer. Choose some other occupation, rather than one in the choosing of which you do, in advance, consent to be a knave.

Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) American lawyer, politician, US President (1861-65)
Speech (1850), Notes for a Law Lecture (fragment)

  33. "The speed with which people will disavow themselves tomorrow from what they do today will astonish you." - Futurist Jim Carroll

    Just watch.

There will be countless people tomorrow who will say, "Well, I wasn't really a supporter." "I wasn't behind it." "I never really believed in all those ideas." "Ya, I always thought it was wrong."

They will suggest they are innocent. They were doubters all along. They had nothing to do with it.

That they would have spoken up except that....

    The list goes on.

Tomorrow, they will try to bend the truth to whatever new reality they want to slide into.

    Remember this post.

    You'll watch it happen.

The speed with which people back away from their previously strongly held beliefs indicates that those beliefs were really nothing but temporary expediency.

This happens with innovation and leadership too. Think about it! Think about all the excuses, attitudes, and shifts in perspective when they disavow their previous stance as the future suddenly appears.

    Who are they?

People who aren't very good at innovation, but who are great at excuses.

    Take a look around you.

    You are surrounded by them.

People who are shallow in their belief system, narrow in their ethics, and quick
    to disavow their past.

And in your mind, you know that their minds are often just simply empty vessels of expediency, where they will do and say and act with whatever repulsive idea, hateful belief or conspiracy-laden agenda that fits their shallowness.

Or whatever agenda-of-the-moment they can adopt, espouse, and support that fits into their belief system.

    Just watch.

    You know I'm right.
