Entre la lista de 20 exoplanetas a ser observados por el #WebbTelescope que la #IAU propone renombrar en esta edición del Name ExoWorlds se encuentra Gliese 486 b, descubierto en 2021 gracias en gran parte al consorcio
#CARMENES. Gliese 486 b se ha convertido en uno de los exoplanetas telúricos mejor estudiados gracias a las recientes investigaciones realizadas desde España. Por ello, esta iniciativa propone renombrar a este exoplaneta y su estrella anfitriona como "Su" y "Gar", respectivamente

Just woke up from a crazy #night observing #HIP41378 with so many instruments. Quick updated status (from what I just red):
- photometry: so far it seems only @hubble86 got a good weather during the expected ingress 🤞
- spectroscopy: data from #CARMENES / #CalarAlto, #HARPS-N / #TNG & #ESPRESSO / #ESO are in my mailbox. ✅

No news yet from the US-based observatories (and India who haven't started observing yet).

We are still IN TRANSIT.
