Just realized that Blockly, which is the base for things like Scratch, Open Roberta Lab or mblock, moved from Google to the Raspberry Pi Foundation from 10. November 2025.
Also cool that you can host it yourself.

I have made a thing today: a cross-over between #blockly and #tracery !
Code is available at https://github.com/loic-fejoz/blockly-for-tracery/ but more importantly, you can directly use it in your browser. Follow the README to see an example.
So many years after discovering @galaxykate , I can build on her ideas. Eventually it may even fly in a satellite! -

Would anyone know of an offline #blockly-like editor for #Python, that is, something with blocks like #scratch, but to run programs on a normal local Python interpreter? #ComputingEducation
Update: It seems that #blockpy is based on #blockly, but the later is more well known, so I edited this toot to make it more "findable". Also, I asked a question at the blockly email forum, let's see if someone answers...

@rasterweb Thank you for tooting this :) I developed a method of using @SnapCloud to interface to #OpenSCAD but this is a great integrated package. I may try to implement the same palette names and colours and investigate using C-blocks instead of nested reporters that I currently use
