Just released a new user script for easier maintenance of @mediawiki (#MediaWiki) interface messages. It links to #translatewiki translations for easier fixing and adds helpful popups with links in uselang=qqx mode. Helpful for both translators and non-translators alike. #MWScripts

Puh was möchte ich denn jetzt? #translatewiki.net, #weblate? Ziel wäre es, das Menschen einfach das UI und Infos übersetzen können ohne HTML und Javascript zu können. Und hinten soll halt was maschinenlesbares raus kommen. Mehr brauch ich nicht.

@gunchleoc Fair enough. Indeed #XLIFF is the only format #translatewiki.net was ever asked about by Microsoft people. I think it was at the time of #Blockly with @ellenspertus, the only person over there I ever talked i18n with.

Ich habe keine Erfahrung damit, aber mittels #TranslateWiki könnten wir einen Versuch unternehmen. Habt ihr Zeit und Lust mitzumachen?
(Auf der Webseite ist nicht nur von #copyleft, sondern #copyfarleft die Rede; Es wundert mich, dass noch keine deutsche Sprachversion existiert. Dabei ist die meinem Gefühl nach doch oft eine der Übersetzungen die häufig in #FLOSS verfügbar ist.)

@maxlath @inventaire great! In my experience #Weblate is just fantastic, it feels very professional. And #Translatewiki brings you a lot of very keen translators who will translate your app in languages you had no idea existed!

@maxlath @inventaire is there a particular reason to use a proprietary system like #Transifex? #Weblate and #TranslateWiki are great open source systems that do the same job very well :)
