I really hope the #Mastodon add in #AI for filtering......any posts with AI mentioned in them to save me the trouble of dealing with all the variations that pop-up

Does anyone know what the critical timings are with the NEC/Samsung IR protocol are? Is it the total high/low length of 1250uS vs 1120uS or do TV's check the individual lengths of the high at 560uS and low at 560uS or 1690uS

Write the date in your diary - I wrote an email to a company and they replied within 5 minutes!!!!

Found the issue - I'd manually set a variable value but in the meantime I'd disconnected and reconnected my #ESP32C3 so the variable no longer had the value I was expecting @microblocks

And 12 minutes later - all sorted with #Vodaphone for same price as #EE #broadband

Just saying this quietly so the gremlins can't hear - since upgrade to latest #OrcaSlicer 2.3.2 - the webcam on my #ElegooCentauriCarbon seems to be working reliably for once // @biglesp

Updated to latest #OrcaSlicer #flatpak - printed something - didn't stick to plate - realised that I hadn't changed it to ASA setting from default PLA so no wonder! 🙂

@tripplehelix Unfortunately, these #meshcore devices I'm using only work with #BLE or USB so if I want to talk to them out side its either a VERY long USB lead thru open window or #Bluetooth

When I tried #meshtastic - it allowed WiFi use which was very reliable once I got it going

So #ESP8266 D1 Mini board in there with a 20Ah battery, running #MicroBlocks script publishing using #MQTT to my broker cymplecy.uk on topic gardenlights. This received by #NodeRED on Pi in my house which uses UDP to update colour of the #Wiz lights and also toots out to cheerlights

Spent most of today trying to trans-code some #python #RegEx parsing code to #JavaScript to use in #NodeRED. Couldn't get it to work so eventually tried the python code and found it didn't work either :( Just on a whim, I decided to add a space char to start of text it was parsing and it worked both in python and JavaScript. #grrrr

I'm just starting converting an old #Python2 program to #Python3 and I'm having errors when waiting for threads to stop using .join() - is this a known difference?
