Det er folk fra alle verdenshjørner samlet på denne lille øya nå. Det er 40-årsjubileum for whiskyfestivalen Fèis ìle og alle destilleriene har hver sin dag i fokus, med whiskysmaking/omvisning, mat og musikk. Det er litt for mange svensker og tyskere her etter min smak, men de klarer ikke å ødelegge en fantastisk opplevelse. Legger ved et bilde av B&B-en vår, No1 Charlotte street i Port Ellen. Varme anbefalinger. #Islay

Var innom Laphroaig og, men her går altså grensa mi for høgg. Fint her da. #Islay

Ardbeg og Lagavolin på én formiddag. Mulig jeg ender opp med virkelig å like dette, med høgg og hår. #Islay

Vi kom gående langs vegen etter å ha spist middag et stykke unna sentrum. Da stopper det en lokal fyr og spør om vi trenger skyss. Blir jo varm om hjertet når sånt skjer, og litt letta. Det er merkelig dårlig lagt til rette for både gående og syklende her ute, og de kjører som svin. #islay
