The #GardenLights #Cheerlights box is now screwed to the garden wall and operational :)
So #ESP8266 D1 Mini board in there with a 20Ah battery, running #MicroBlocks script publishing using #MQTT to my broker cymplecy.uk on topic gardenlights. This received by #NodeRED on Pi in my house which uses UDP to update colour of the #Wiz lights and also toots out to cheerlights

Playing with 16x16 neopixel panels with #microblocks

@rmillwood suggested covering with thin material to hide the unused pixels and diffuse the light. Much clearer with the sheet of paper I had to hand.

I have recently been working on adding Beagleconnect Freedom support to Microblocks. For those unfamiliar, MicroBlocks is a blocks programming language for physical computing inspired by Scratch.

In the background, I am using Arduino core API for the Zephyr module. This should allow adding support for other Zephyr boards to microblocks fairly simple.
