Het “Jazzcafé”, de dinsdagavond improvisatiereeks in Zaal 100, presenteert muziek die ter plekke voor een publiek ontstaat en vorm krijgt. Dat dat eens mislukt maakt het juist spannend voor alle aanwezigen.
De musici ervaren de aanwezigheid van publiek als een enorme stimulans om hun vaardigheden fijn te slijpen. We hebben elkaar nodig.
Elke derde dinsdag (dat kan ook wel eens een vierde of zelfs een tweede dinsdag zijn. Let op de aankondigingen!) wordt het onderzoek naar het werk van Duke Ellington verder voortgezet onder de titel All Ellington.
Zoals het al jaren gaat wordt er tot op het laatste moment aan programma’s geschaafd. Via Podiumpost en de Zaal 100 website blijven we u op de hoogte houden.
Nog steeds geldt dat uit de gevraagde entreegelden de zaalhuur, de parkeergelden en soms eens een taxirit bekostigd worden. Als er na aftrek van deze kosten nog wat overblijft kan dat geld verdeeld worden onder de muzikanten. Als dat geld niet geclaimed wordt gaat het in het solidariteits'potje’. Uit het 'potje' worden de zaalhuur en de overige kosten betaald voor concerten waar te weinig inkomsten op binnenkomen.
We hopen dat u in grote getale op dinsdagavonden de magische momenten van het ontstaan en ontwikkelen van muziek, de kern van improvisatie, komt meemaken.
Vergeet niet vrienden en kennissen mee te nemen!

My god - setting up Steam is one of the worst user experiences I’ve ever had.
