White Knuckle Grip
White Knuckle Grip is a hardcore band founded in 2024. The Rotterdam based group– Sebastian Rengifo Rodriguez [vocals], Joey Roodenburg [bass], Aleksi Nardo [drums] and Oliver Chambers [guitar] – utilise groove-driven riffs, introspective lyrical themes, and dynamic song structures to create a sound that is both abrasive yet emotionally-charged. Taking inspiration from hardcore, nu-metal, hip-hop and shoegaze, White Knuckle Grip brings a young and unapologetic energy to the stage, and a breath of fresh air into the Dutch hardcore scene.

Angles Morts
Angles Morts is a Rotterdam-based five-piece hardcore/death metal crossover band. With oriental influences in their music, the band blends crushing breakdowns, punishing blast beats and eerie melodies that promise a chaotic and unforgettable live experience that gets the crowd moving.

20:00 TRAUMA PARTY

Underdog children of the digital era, but struggling to cope with what's required to live in it: superficiality and lack of humanity and empathy, downgrading of human emotions, feelings, creativeness, individuality and real connections. This struggle is downright traumatizing. Hence we came up with our own concept called the TRAUMA PARTY: it's not only music, it's words, language, images, vibes, feeling, movement. It's a ritual that allows yourself to FEEL and BEING HUMAN again despite the system being built to make it harder and harder for you: it's catharsis and therapy through dance and music, facing your traumas and the hurt that living like this gave you and SWEATING IT OUT OF YOUR BODY. Thriving in the contradiction and imperfection of being human through creating art that faces the contradiction of the system and self-destroying mechanisms and dynamics we jailed ourselves in.

Fu-rious Warriors: the Monkey

Step into the golden age of hand-drawn animation with a special screening of the timeless classic, Havoc in Heaven (大闹天宫), at Ventilator Cinema.

Based on the early chapters of the legendary 16th-century Chinese epic Journey to the West, the film centers on Sun Wukong (the Monkey King). Born from a magical stone, Sun Wukong possesses supernatural strength, a cloud that lets him fly across the heavens, a size-changing staff, and a famously mischievous streak that leads him to single-handedly rebel against the Jade Emperor's celestial bureaucracy.

If Sun Wukong feels familiar, you aren't imagining things! He is the direct cultural and mythological blueprint for Son Goku in Akira Toriyama’s iconic franchise Dragon Ball. From Goku's monkey tail, magical extending staff, and flying nimbus cloud to his playful defiance and love for a good challenge, the DNA of the Monkey King lives on in modern anime.

Released in two parts starting in 1961, Havoc in Heaven was directed by Wan Laiming and produced by the pioneering Wan brothers at the Shanghai Animation Film Studio. The film brilliantly blends traditional Chinese folk art with the dynamic choreography, face-painting motifs, and percussion-heavy soundtrack of Peking opera.
