The event is to welcome new students (cohort) to Codam. They have been going through a selection process during the summer and are now starting their education at Codam. During this time, they are having their introduction weeks, and we want to host this event to welcome these new students and make them bond with the older students as well. This is also a chance for the older students / alumni to keep engaged with Codam and have fun with each other and the staff.
The music is fully arranged by Codam students / staff. It will consists of DJ’s and one band. Students at Codam come from various different backgrounds and nationalities however we share our interest in technology and community, this is also seen in the music. The music will start with pop, rock, jazz, reggae in the beginning. Folowed by house, disco, electro-pop, reggaeton, funk in the middle. The band will transition the music to higher bpm ranges with laptop punk (Rock, Drum and Bass, Industrial, Breakbeat, Breakcore, Digital Hardcore). Followed by a neuro-funk DJ and ending with a hardstyle DJ.
