Well this weekend I spent much of it hacking Python and ReactJS… teaching a PocketBeagle SBC some new tricks. These devices are being used in RFID terminals that take card reads from UHF RFID scanners, and transmit them back to base over APRS/AX.25.
I added the ability to associate a tag EPC with a competitor number. Over WiFi, they now send that number to a Pimoroni Interstate75W using UDP multicast, to flash up on a RGB LED display.
A ReactJS web interface allows for updating those associations, and observing status in real time. Also sending competitor numbers over packet by manual entry.
I'm really pushing the limits of APRS: 60 characters is not a lot. I might be dusting off my 6LoWPAN over AX.25 ideas yet.

As a #WebDev, I've been a fan of replacing Native Apps with #ProgressiveWebApps. I have been installing and using them whenever available since they were first announced.
Honestly, I'm beginning to wonder if #PWAs are even a good idea; I often find myself reaching for the browser toolbar which is unavailable in PWAs.
The only thing they do is provide a nice shortcut from the startmenu, or app launcher, but since most of the PWAs I use are social Media I don't even really *want* that!

Celebrating Stoppard: Albert's Bridge
SpotlightTom Stoppard's Albert's Bridge is part of Radio 4's Celebrating Stoppard collection.
This is a 1988 production of the play first broadcast in 1967, the year Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead opened at the National Theatre.
Albert is a philosophy graduate who turns the painting of a vast railway bridge into a comic, quixotic search for meaning. Up on the ironwork, suspended above a world that looks reassuringly like a model railway set, he has found something rare: perspective. The only question is how long it can last.
Funny, strange and with serious foundations worn lightly, Albert's Bridge won the Prix Italia and an award at the International Radio Play Festival in Prague.

As this will be Codex and Claude’s first #WWDC as integrated Xcode tools, I think we should lower our collective expectations of their capabilities.

(For non-Arabists, these are literally “thick” and “thin.”) I see three options, none of which are without problems.
