@jdbartee @Iconfactory .. Yes the #fediverse is much larger. I’m hoping that new technology will allow me to do a simple search that includes ALL fediverse servers that are “in good standing”. The current “search” mechanism is so primitive & convoluted I don’t even try anymore. We’re all missing so much connectivity by being hindered (by the current technology) like this.

Our orphaned #RedShoulderdHawk has joined other hawklets. The others are slightly older - see difference in their feather development. Whenever possible it’s important to join similar species together with their own kind, with as little human contact as possible. This assures they will grow up wild with their #NaturalInstincts & defenses in place.

@the_real_hal @SecularJeffrey #Wolves aren’t just predators they’re #ApexPredators. They’re central to the functioning of #ecosystems, regulation of disease & the maintenance of #biodiversity. They help to maintain healthy populations of prey species by taking out the old, sick & injured. Wolves in fact are beneficial. They make everything around them stronger, healthier, more agile & alert. The Yellowstone is an excellent example of this.

@Yudron I also live in #RuralCalifornia in a similar political environment. A blue dot in a red county, in a blue state. It’s good that you went. A sense of #community is so important, you & everybody there matters. The GOP base of haters & dividers is shrinking. What is that quote by Margaret Mead? ….. ”Never underestimate the power of a small group of committed people to change the world. In fact, it is the only thing that ever has.”

@Carumba It is, 100% agree, & it’s time. We are now, collectively coming out of unconsciousness, and it’s time to face what we’ve done. It’s the only way to continue to move forward & create a better world a #NewEarth -it’s already happening. We have to help others as #humanity continues to #awaken. It takes #courage to honestly see clearly, not only what we’ve done to the 🌎but to each other, #racism, #misogyny, all of it.

Thanks to the points you’ve made, I can see how someone can become overwhelmed & I appreciate their work even more. I believe that somehow we can collectively #help so the Fediverse will always remain free.

@cookie_mumbles IMO there’s no coincidences in life - everything happens for a reason. Twitter’s imploding bc it does not serve us well, doesn’t serve the #HighestGood of #ThePeople. We were being programmed w/ anger, negativity, discord & division. The old ways are crumbling.

@Jackiemauro The samples were run by CDFW’s Wildlife Forensics Laboratory. DNA analysis showed 1 adult female & 4 of her offspring, 2 males and 2 females. Through further analysis of the wolf pup’s DNA the connection to an adult male (which was not included in the samples ) was seen. They determined he is most likely from the Lassen pack. … So there’s 6 #GrayWolves, 2 adults and their 4 pups! ☺️

Great news! #California has a new #GrayWolf pack!
In July wolf sighting we’re reported in #SequoiaNationalForest. Tracks, scat & hair samples were found & genetically tested. It was confirmed: 5 gray wolves! DNA tests revealed 1 female is direct descendant of CA’s 1st documented wolf since the 1920s; OR7. 1 male is poss descendant of Lassen Pack.#Wildlife

Food for thought about the #Robins; if possible save the grass clippings from your lawn & put them on the hardpan underneath #RobinNest, it could provide natural padding if they fall. Also, if they fall & are uninjured, you can put them back in the nest. 🩵 -
