@mrdoornbos And there we go. Took a minute without any optimizations, using oscar64. It only supports floats, and that only barely. So 10.000 iterations is the maximum, plus convergence is poor. BASIC is faring better! I wonder how quick it'll be at -O3...?

Installiert ihr euch das Spiel in einer echten DOS-Umgebung oder einem PC-Emulator, denkt immer daran, die neueste Version der MONKEY.EXE zu verwenden. Interpreter Version 5.0.19 deaktiviert, ganz offiziell und ohne jeden Crack, den Kopierschutz und startet direkt in das Spiel. Außerdem wurden nebenbei auch noch ein Haufen Fehler und Abstürze behoben. 😉

Frisch ausgelesen und gescannt stehen die Update-Disketten von MS-DOS 6.0 ab sofort für euch zum Download im Internet Archive. Im Jahre 1993 waren 5,25" Disketten schon eher eine Seltenheit, aber diese Version wurde tatsächlich noch auf 4 x 1,2MB HD Disks ausgeliefert.
