A young Silver Garden Spider (Argiope argentata) most likely. When I shot this, the entire stabilimentum (the decorative part of the web) was smaller than a dime, about 12mm by 9mm. The spider's body is 3mm long, about the size of Roosevelt's nose on a dime. The body of an adult female would be around 12mm with long legs. #spider #macro #macrophotgraphy #arachnid #wildlifephotgraphy

This week we're doing a trial run on a game night reboot! Join us Friday at 6pm for cooperative and competitive tabletop games in a space that's designed for both experienced players and newbies. Make friends and have fun without spending a dime! You can bring a game you love to share, or play one of dozens provided by our facilitator, Kit.
We'll focus on quick games for the first thirty minutes to warm up and hold space for folks arriving late. If you arrive after 7pm we'll try to fit you in, but there may be fewer options once other players have committed themselves to longer games. Depending on how things go, we're imagining this being a monthly or bimonthly event.

Trump says “don’t touch Medicaid”—then backs a bill that guts it by $600B?! All while flying private on Qatar’s dime? This isn’t policy. It’s corruption. And if this budget bill passes, the lies become laws.
The worst part is, the social services cuts do almost NOTHING to offset the billionaires tax breaks. The bill would still add trillions to the deficit. They don’t care about a balanced budget. It’s just an act of cruelty, plain and simple.
