Just finished #TheKaijuPreservationSociety by #JohnScalzi. For once I listened to a single, stand-alone, non-saga sci-fi book and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a little light, but that's by design, and sometimes thats exactly the thing that hits the spot. #JohnScalzi is an awesome author, and enjoying his work through the voice talent of #WilWheaton just adds to the goodness.

I agree with you about the coffee shop convicts: their comedy potential wasn't exploited. However there's much going on in this show and it's already 20 episodes long. The bar gang purpose is to explain how #OhJiAn got her door unlocking skills. And also why she made it difficult for Healer to take her DNA in the first episode.I haven't watched #TheK2 yet. Is it as good as Healer?
