#JiChangWook always amazes me in fighting scenes, but this time they're taken a bit too far. The guy is half dead and he still fights all the hunch men coming at him. And he wakes up in the doctor's room after 20 min just in time to reveal an important peace of information 🤣

I really disliked the FL, as any female character unable to do anything and constantly being rescued by the ML while screaming "Je-ha-iaaaa!!!"

I wouldn’t say that “The K2” is better than Healer. I don’t think the story is as well developed. But if you love Ji Chang Wook fighting, it is a great watch. He won an award for “Best Dressed Actor” for it.

The K2 (2016)

Ji Chang-wook makes an excellent spy/agent. K2 was obviously written to show off this talent. The story is sloppy and patched together with political intrigue that comes out of nowhere and people switching sides faster than you can keep track.

That said, I really enjoyed it and may even rewatch, but would only recommend it to people who like Ji Chang-wook beating up dozens of other agents & police every episode. The battle choreography is beyond belief (seriously - only a real superhero could do that). I'm not sure if it was meant to be satirical, but if you just take it at face-value as an action series, it's a fun watch.

The 2 female leads, Im Yoon-ah & Song Yoon-ah were also excellent with the characters they were given. I even ended up feeling sorry for the villain.

It's Okay to Not Be Okay (watch party: ep. 8) - Finding so many new things, not only because it's the 2nd time, but seeing it through other's eyes is enlightening.

Hotel del Luna (watch party: ep. 8) - Beautiful and I have become an IU fan. She is just amazing.

Besides the watch parties, I like having 2 or 3 different genres going.
The K2 (Action/Spy: ep. 14) - Great action, mild romance.

Tale of the Nine-Tailed (Supernatural: ep. 5) - I'm really enjoying this story. Watching, so I can watch 1938 and know what's going on.

Our Blooming Youth (Historical Mystery: ep. 4) - This one is getting better & better with every episode. Very intriguing!

And because those all happened to get pretty intense about the same time for me, I wanted something lighter and binged Suspicious Partner. I'll do a recap post later because I finished it yesterday.
