A few days back artist Edward Kinsell briefly added two pieces of artwork for The Keep to his website with the comment:
"Original Blu-ray cover art illustration commissioned in 2024"
The words "Vinegar Syndrome" were part of the URL.

Michael Mann's The Keep is on sale on Prime Video for about $7.99. It's a fascinating movie with a lost 3-hour cut!
The Keep has never been released on DVD or Blu-ray in the U.S., Europe or Japan. There's a laserdisc release, a single remastered DVD in Australia ... and this 480p streaming version we just watched.
Dream-like and moody with a legit Tangerine Dream soundtrack, this is quite the treat for horror fans -- reminding me of The Shining and Blade Runner.

It is too bad that we will never see the original 3.5 hours version of #TheKeep. Its de facto legendary, mysterious status is much more useful to #MichaelMann's fame than putting it out could possibly be.

An indie game that REALLY reminds me of some first person RPGs my neighbor and his dad liked in the 90's. Like then, I'm not that great at them.
Combat sucks imo.
It's 10× the price, but there is a Japanese series on the #3DS that does this far better.
