Nepal says nearly $7 billion is needed for it to recover from the deadly August 26 floods, arguing wealthier countries should treat the climate change-fuelled disaster as a "shared responsibility".

And there you have it. The whole, "we'll dismantle FEMA and give those funds directly to the states," is just BS. Wisconsin is told to suck it.

Those disaster dollars are his funds and he'll use them for whatever he wants!

Though poor and homeless, I'm personally funding my #HamRadio for #MutualAid group's programming, including buying books and equipment for everyone to learn and share, paying travel expenses to teach free classes in various different states or to network with groups and build our #EmergencyPreparedness and #DisasterRelief plans and practice them together so we'll be ready when needed.

This weekend, we are having an Antenna Day event in a local park, learning more about how antennas work, looking at different types, and practicing building some of our own. We have many other events and trainings in the works on different topics.

Ongoing education and practice are what will help us to #KeepEachOtherSafe. When internet and cell service goes down, how will you stay in communication?
