@raccoon @[email protected] i’ve just been reading it! I signed up to #ProjectMushroom 🍄 but whilst it was being set up joined mastodon.green, not realising mushroom was going to be on mastodon, too - by then couldn’t be bothered to change instance but keep on wondering whether i should, as i miss the climate Community i had on twitter - though v much like my new one here too. For some reason i can’t look at the spore instance timeline as i can with other instances- am i doing soemthing wrong?

@raccoon Example, if I can increase the #energy efficiency of my home, and thus pay less for heating oil (or wood or electricity) and then take those savings and spend them on something helpful to the #environment and the world, like supporting #ProjectMushroom and #Spore financially, It would have double the impact by saving emissions and helping the people who are doing something about the problem, instead of sending more money to those that are perpetuating the #ClimateCrises . 🧵 2/2

Недавно разработал вот такую игрушку для более простой, удобной, и кроссплатформенной работы с прошивками, в основном для мастеров по ремонту электроники. Необычность заключается в том, что микросхема работает как простой файл на простой юсб флешке. Можно скопировать или заменить прошивку обычным перетаскиванием, или напрямую открыть дамп в hex-редакторе или нужном софте. Работает на практически любом устройстве с любой ос, которая понимает юсб-флешки. 8мб читает за 12 секунд, пишет за 36 секунд и выше, это везде зависит от самой микросхемы. К тому же сам определяет микросхему и её питание (не нужен 1,8в адаптер), и подбирает частоту для Spi флешек от 1,7 до 22МГц (важно для внутрисхемной прошивки по прищепке). Готовится усиленная поддержка прищепки, режим уже проходит тестирование и цепляет намного больше плат чем остальные. Имеет защиту от дурака, и что-либо сжечь будет довольно трудно. Работает на винде, линуксе, андроиде, пока частично (только чтение) и на маке.

Like a child, they lack easier communication methods to indicate unmet needs. -
This is Tiny, one of the raccoons that lives near my house. Tiny is most easily recognizable because one of her eyes does not glow in nighttime camera footage. She can also be identified by her ears, which are particularly close-set on the top of her head and have some notches.
I first saw Tiny last summer, when she visited the yard a few times while she was clearly nursing a litter of kits. She was very small, and I was worried about whether she would make it since she seemed underweight.
She has continued to visit the yard periodically. Earlier this year, she showed up in the yard with her tongue sticking out, as if she might have some kind of jaw injury. She was a lot bigger than when I first saw her, though, so she seemed to be eating enough.
She's come by the yard the last two nights for snacks. Last night, I caught her in the crabapple tree eating fruit. She looks fantastic – very big and fluffy for winter!
