Despite my avian avatar, I have cats these days. One problem that I'm running into is that racoons are getting into my outdoor automatic cat feeder. It only dispenses enough for the cat at certain times of the day, but the racoons have taken to stealing the feeder and breaking it open. I've sealed/reinforced it with duct tape and even attached a barbell weight to the bottom of it to keep them from dragging it too far from my porch. Any suggestions on racoon-proofing my feeder?
