I've been trying out SmolFedi on a recommendation. It has a lot of advantages over the default Mastodon interface. A post with four graphics and alt text almost becomes a blog entry. It's a really nice way to read through some posts.
I think because it doesn't have Javascript, it's probably not keyboard navigable.
I haven't tried it in a text-only browser but I have to imagine it would work pretty well with that.
There's a bit of a learning curve when it comes to working with threaded posts, etc. but that kind of thing tends to be true regardless. I haven't checked into whether it works with other heavy-weight interface Fediverse platforms. Having a heavy footprint in the browser is one of the key irritations with Misskey and its forks.
I'd love to see a bunch of hosts for SmolFedi crop up.

Die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit hier in Südfrankreich lässt das Eis am Verdampfer meines Kühlschranks sehr schnell wachsen.
Dadurch sinkt die Kühlleistung rapide.Nachdem Carsten mal wieder mit dem Fön das Eis entfernt hat ging die Temperatur wieder richtig gut runter.

@Alt Text Hall of Fame And it is bad for those who cannot access alt-text, for example, because they don't have at least one properly working hand (which is often a hard requirement to open alt-text) or because of the environment they deliberately chose (e.g. minimalist window manager that's entirely operated by keyboard + no pointing device + graphical browser).

My generosity however is largely exhausted at this point.I will add: The right hand side of the graphic has a black and white diagram of a single SARS-2-Covid19 virus. It appears bizarre in the context of the Digital Identity graphic. Bizarre to the extent of appearing to have been added by a genAI slop machine.

This graphic is floating around the right-wing Internet... Obviously it's insane, but even so, I have some questions for people who might believe it.
(For now, anyone with half a brain and a basic knowledge of science, graphs and politics, you will have to suspend your brain and accept the chart as something legitimate instead of a paint splat with random words on it.)
1. Has the right finally disavowed itself of Antivaxxers? I mean, great, but that's news to me! I see they are still keeping the Climate Change Deniers though.
2. I am not sure why these liberals would be calling Social Democrats, Social Liberals and Liberal Democrats "fascists" because that's just not linguistically or academically correct, it's a semantic train wreck and a logical fallacy all on one track.
3. "Don't tread on me" - I know the Libertarians are often nuts, but I don't think people are calling them fascists. In fact they are the ones calling the right fascists at the moment, aint'cha Ron Paul!
4. Fascism (or what it calls the "Lunatic Fringe") is apparently immune from being called Fascist by the anti-fascists. I have no idea how that one even works.
5. How is "Science, Intelligence and Logic" in the same camp as Climate Deniers, Neocons (the Religions Nationalists), and the Alt-Right?
6. The Neocons and the Alt-Right hate each other, why are they next to each other in the same segment?
7. How come Anti-fascists are not calling Fundamentalism and Corporatism "fascists" as well?
8. Why is "Antifa" in the maroon slice? Churchill, Charles de Gaulle, Reagan, Eisenhower and many other heroes of the 20th Century were proudly AntiFa, and I don't think they were Socialists or Communists. I’m guessing Statism’s there just to make it look clever, because it doesn't fit at all.

MFW I see a beautiful informational graphic with lots of clearly-stated, helpful information... and then the alt text is essentially, "A series of illustrations of how to do and not-do [the thing], including items like Do [1 out of 5 Do's] and Don't [1 out of 6 Don't's]": 😒😠😡
It would have been easy to fit all that information into 1500 characters. Why taunt people with a mere fraction of the knowledge fully-sighted people are getting?
