Hmm would be nice if a Mastodon bot that says it if there is a nice CTF match on #Xonotic.
Or on #SpringRTS. Although there is usually an endless 8v8 battle. (If i play i don't want those.. 4v4 max..)

Xonotic at 11pm during exam season feels... good
The feeling is reminiscent of my No-Lifing days during covid when I was at home all day, playing with xonotic friends... I have to let go and become a better person someday eventually but today, I'm going to have fun.

Awww. Xonotic even runs on my Thinkpad X220 with custom 2K screen!
Installed from FreeBSD packages 😉
Usually, some "old school" games, like Quake 2, Quake 3, etc fail to properly run in fullscreen, when they found a custom 2K screen on the DP-3 line😄
Usually the games try to burn an integrated graphics card (Intel GMA X3000), when drawing a game scene at 2K. Or run only in windowed mode, because there is no 2K in those "old times".

Od 18.00 do 20.00 zapraszamy na Xonotic'a, natomiast od 20.00 do 22.00 zakończymy dzień kilkoma wyścigami w SuperTuxKart.

I modded an #OpenArena server to feature evolving playlists of submitted remixes as the background music for each match. I even tweaked the taunts and sayings to be more inclusive and less late 90s teenage gamer sounding. What are some other open source multiplayer games that can have their music modded and automatically downloaded when players join? On my list to investigate are #SuperTuxKart #minecraft #xonotic
