Whenever I come across a village, I like to build a nether portal (for easy access), but then I build a big temple around it, like the villagers have been worshiping the portal to the dimension they don't understand. I imagine they would fear and respect the player who's able to go in and out of it without dying every other day :P

Um amigo comentou em uma publicação no Fediverso que o tal de "airfryer" (o nome poderia ser em português, imagino...) é algo muito bom. Preciso concordar.

O forno ou aquecedor airfryer é vida: cozinha mais rápido, deixa os alimentos crocantes sem precisar de muito óleo, é fácil de limpar e economiza energia em relação a um forno grande, um microondas ou uma panela no fogo. É interessante e bem bom (no sentido de muito bom, bastante bom) pra quem quer pratos gostosos, práticos e com menos gordura, ideal pra correria do dia a dia.

I’m adding a new trading currency to #Repixture: Gold Coins. They will replace the awkward gold ingots used by villagers right now. 😅

1 Gold Ingot = 60 Gold Coins. This simple change has the benefit that low-value items can be bought easier; you will no longer have to buy items in bulk like currently.

Well we have started playing with the Mineclonia game in Luanti. It is supposed to behave and look like MineCraft and my offspring say that it does.

It is lightweight, runs fast on a 16GB Raspberry Pi 5 and is still fast when hosting the game on the same machine.

We haven't tried it in survival mode yet but in creative mode the evil mobs are not too hard to deal with.

The next thing is to try out survival mode to see how difficult it gets.

My latest change to #Repixture was overhauling the loot system for chest items.

The old system was weird. It would frst pick a random item from a list (each with equal chance), and *then* decide whether to add it according to an item-specific probability. So a loot pool of many low-probability items, chests often ended up empty.

The new system is simpler: Any item that is picked will be added 100%, but each item has its own chance to be picked in the first place.
