Yesterday I woke up to the news of the #Luanti #Android app being taken down from Google Play due to a DMCA from an entity representing Microsoft. Again.

PS this game is hosted on our network on a Raspberry Pi 5. It is currently serving the game to a Linux PC and a Raspberry Pi 4.
It runs fast enough for our purposes.
Age of Mending seems quite light in comparison to other more popular games.

2/2 This afternoon something similar happened in a new AoM world. One long ship placed in a bay started duplicating.
Second Born got rather upset and then decided to find a way to get rid of the problem.
They stumbled upon the "/clearobjects" command which, when applied removed all of the long ships.
The command did not remove any other things like lanterns, doors etc.
So we are happy that the long ships are gone but do not know what things are defined as "objects".

1/2 We had a problem with our first Age of Mending game. We had placed some long ships at sea and started using them. They work really well as long ships. Easy to steer and control and stop.
Then one day suddenly about 15 long ships spawned on land. Right next to our first settlement.
We could not delete them or burn them or blow them up. They were embedded in the landscape.
We stopped playing in that world and created some AoM worlds that were just not quite as good.

In the upcoming version of #Repixture, it will be possible to place many items in the world as decoration.
My long-term goal is to eventually make *all* items placeable.
It’s a lot of work, but I think it is worth it.
