  21. Today at #WorldQuantumDay we celebrated the opening of the Cryo-Lab of ICA with Stefan van Waasen, Carsten Degenhardt, Lea Schreckenberg and Sabrina Röttger-Wirtz.

    Since December last year, ICA has been operating two dilution refrigerators to test cryo-electronics together with quantum bits at temperatures close to absolute zero, typically at 20–40 millikelvin.

    These cryostats will enable ICA to take the next steps in developing and integrating cryo-electronics for scalable quantum computing.
