We agree there needs to be a greater focus on AI and research integrity. As James Parry, our chief innovation officer, says in the article: “AI opens up new opportunities for research, but also raises questions on its safe, rigorous and ethical use."
UKRIO will be expanding its current work on AI as one of our key workstreams in 2024/25, to help provide solutions for these complex research integrity challenges.

Just updated yesterday's blogpost on lack of consequences for misconduct to include further proposal by Jennifer Byrne, plus a bit of a bibliography and some quotes, and to liberate a couple of comments from moderation.
Feel free to add comments. The more evidence we can assemble that lack of consequences for #misconduct is normative, and a big problem, the better.
