FYI the Chicago #USattorney, Andrew S. Boutros of the Northern District of IL, was recently appointed by #Trump.

AND, last May, #Boutros had to dismiss all the charges he brought in the "Broadview Six" #immigration #protest case after his staff's grand jury #misconduct was revealed. He was excoriated for defending the prosecution by Judge #AprilPerry who described it as the worst prosecutorial misconduct she had ever seen, all of which occurred on Boutros's watch.

A new study shows that articles from #PaperMills can get "50 to 100% more citations than other papers" even with fewer downloads. One cause for the extra citations is mutual citation by the same papers.

The court ruled for #Monsanto because the #EPA said Roundup (#glyphosate) was harmless, not because the 𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 said it was harmless. There's good evidence that that the EPA decision was flawed, if not cynical. It relied on studies written mostly by Monsanto staffers and the lead article has been retracted.
