• Less interest in the culture of our island
• Less balance in our ecosystems
• Higher property prices, working age people priced out of our community!

Yes we want tourism!

Using plants, bacteria and clay pebbles as a natural filtration system, our garden produces fish and vegetables on autopilot. No more need to farm fish or salmon in the sea. It can be done on land without causing pollution.

It's funny how nature seems to provide the best solutions. How adding simple technology in harmony with nature, can add so much value for humans too.

I no longer wanted to be a cog in the wheel of a machine that was destroying everything.

I decided to be part of the solution, no longer part of the problem.

It took me a few years to build up the courage to take the final steps:
- to quit my job
- sell my car
- cancel my home and contracts
- give everything away that no longer served me.

My journey of discovery of what the solution is, started when I arrived in a forest on the West Coast of Scotland.

I fell in love with that forest and made a wish I could live there.

Two years later I gained permission of the owner of that forest.

I am eternally grateful for that forest for all that it taught me.
