  1. #NowPlaying #PostIndustrial #SaturdayOnStage

Was recently reminded that as a teen I had new earholes bored into my cranium by #PsychicTV live at the Variety Arts Center in downtown Los Angeles, 2 April 1988. There's even a crummy bootleg 7" out there to prove this gig went down! No doubt #GenesisPOrridge is still screaming onstage in whatever pagan hereafter he's ended up in - RIP.

  4. 🎥 The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye (2011)

Sad that this was made after Lady Jaye was dead. It would have been more interesting with their participation. As it is, this is more like “The Ballad of Genesis (With a Focus on Lady Jaye)”.

(Warning: If, like me, you get motion sickness from unsteady camera, this has a lot of handheld stuff in it.)

  5. When I was a teen in the 90s, I had this VHS tape, a compilation with Wax Trax Records artists - it starts with two KMFDM songs, there's Laibach, Coil, Ministry, Front Line Assembly, and Psychic TV on it. And it's all on YouTube now. This is a wild watch. This got me really more hooked on industrial music - I was already a KMFDM/Coil fan but I hadn't heard a lot from those other bands, and 🤯 There's some stuff in here too I was a little more meh on (Sister Machine Gun, a real odd one), but wow did I watch this a lot as a kid.

  6. #NowPlaying my favorite Psychic TV LP, 'Towards Thee Infinite Beat' from 1990. This one is some wild acid house, a truly bizarre but unforgettable one from Genesis P (RIP). I like this one so much because it has a little bit of a Coil feel but of course that inevitable Throbbing Gristle feel, too, and it's all wrapped up in this great, trance-y acid house package. LOVE this one.

  9. #PsychicTV - Themes 3 // My first weird music love. A truly deranged version on Unclean, sort of & some frightening dark tribal monkey hooting, bullroarer, howling + the mischievous presence of #MonteCazazza rambling on like #DennisHopper (one day I’ll tell you a long story about me and Dennis) in #ApocalypseNow. Spent hours as a teenager listening deeply to this record, searching for meanings I’m still convinced are in there, somewhere. True #experimentalmusic

  10. I bought this copy of Wreckers around 2000-2001 in LA from Amok books who later became Koma books. Probably the coolest #bookstore ever. I lived blocks away from it and I remember being so broke that I paid this off in a few installments lol. It might have been $30 bucks. Signed by Sleezy.

  11. A fake #AcidHouse compilation with members of #PsychicTV + #RichardNorris & #DaveBall / gives a way that acid house could have gone if the freaks had taken over
