  2. Following a successful beta phase, version 1.10.0 of the tool has been completed and published today.

You can now choose the profile to use for automatic switching. For example, you may set it to balanced on AC and power-saving on battery power.

Support for power profiles and frequency limits on Intel Xe/Arc GPUs has been added, charge thresholds work with newer kernels and additional hardware.

  6. I have just released version 1.9.0 of the tool.

Enjoy the brand new -pd (TLP Profiles Daemon) for easy profile switching with a mouse click!

tlp-pd replaces -profiles-daemon by implementing the same D-Bus API that major Linux desktop environments like GNOME, KDE and Cinnamon already use.

  7. I have just released version 1.9.0-beta.1 of the tool.

The key innovation in this release is the new Profiles Daemon. -pd enables you to conveniently switch between performance (AC), balanced (BAT) and power-saving (SAV) settings profiles from your Linux desktop environment and replaces -profiles-daemon.

Please take part in the beta test. I look forward to seeing your results.
