Oh, the irony! 🤦♂️ A study about AI advising on relationships can't even advise readers to enable JavaScript without breaking a sweat. Maybe they need a chatbot to spoon-feed them that basic tech tip. 😂

I store my work and private files on a USB which until recently backed up on the Norton cloud. This was good, so of course they've withdrawn this functionality. I want the USB files to be the originals so I can work if internet down. Suggestions, absolute certainty no AI scraping. #microsoft

I've had a weird issue on windows 11 PC where twice now, the time has been incorrect. Just out by a few minutes. This time it was 7 minutes fast. I nudged it correct, but I'm wondering why this would happen. The CMOS battery is new. Any ideas? #Windows11 #techadvice

Ah, the eternal quest for a 'cheap phone' that isn't secretly a brick designed by an intern on their first day. This article drops some wisdom on separating the true budget gems from the absolute digital trash.
Because life's too short for laggy UIs and cameras that think 'potato' is a valid filter. What's your tell-tale sign of a truly bad phone?

Hey everyone 👋
I’m diving deeper into running AI models locally—because, let’s be real, the cloud is just someone else’s computer, and I’d rather have full control over my setup. Renting server space is cheap and easy, but it doesn’t give me the hands-on freedom I’m craving.
So, I’m thinking about building my own AI server/workstation! I’ve been eyeing some used ThinkStations (like the P620) or even a server rack, depending on cost and value. But I’d love your advice!
My Goal:
Run larger LLMs locally on a budget-friendly but powerful setup. Since I don’t need gaming features (ray tracing, DLSS, etc.), I’m leaning toward used server GPUs that offer great performance for AI workloads.Questions for the Community:
1. Does anyone have experience with these GPUs? Which one would you recommend for running larger LLMs locally?
2. Are there other budget-friendly server GPUs I might have missed that are great for AI workloads?
3. Any tips for building a cost-effective AI workstation? (Cooling, power supply, compatibility, etc.)
4. What’s your go-to setup for local AI inference? I’d love to hear about your experiences!I’m all about balancing cost and performance, so any insights or recommendations are hugely appreciated.
Thanks in advance! 🙌

I am very interested in switching off from Apple iPhone and using something different finally.
Do people enjoy Android? What other phones/companies do people enjoy and why? I would like to have more customization, privacy options and support a company that is (hopefully) more ethical.
I am also interested in the Unihertz Jelly Phone which I think runs IOS but isn’t an iPhone.
I also don’t want to buy from Google if I can help it. -

Nintendo Switch 2 comes with a built-in protective screen film that should not be removed. Unlike regular screen protectors, this layer helps prevent screen shattering and maintains touch sensitivity. If extra protection is needed, simply apply a third-party screen protector over it never peel the original film.
