Absolutely love this from @Uniformbooks
I'm always excited by stuff that commemorates humdrum provincial locations, and Ian Waites does this wonderfully. The restrained tone is what does it - reminiscence should avoid self-indulgence - and the image repro is stunning.

This was a strange & weird & moving book about grief and how it haunts us literally to the edges of place and time. It’s a bit too much into #psychogeography trope and kitsch, to be a four star book.
