Since there was an eclipse this week, I saw several different interpretations of what it means when it comes to the energies of the sun and the moon, so I'm curious.

During an eclipse, what do you think happens with the sun and moon's energy and influence?

(Since some Europeans recently got to experience an eclipse, it would be cool to hear descriptions of what you felt during the event.)

#FediCoven 2026 Q1 - For those who have a form of divination in their practice, does this indicate to you that the universe is predestined/deterministic?

Nnnno.

I believe in a potentially infinite universe of possibilities, so tbh I view divination as seeing possible paths / outcomes, some more probable than others. Divination is more like... seeing what will prob happen if u let stuffs continue as they are. 

I think that mostly, ppl do passive divination. "What will happen with the stuffs" and they accept. Active divination more intervention-ish? Like, u do it to try to shift things. 

And yesh, I think u can. 

So, I'm a little bit of a precog. I can't control it and I don't even always know that I'm doing it, but I've had ppl ( @VulpineDruid ) catch it BC she was super confused wtf I was talking abt... until it happened.

The weirdly is that by pointing it out, the original conversation we had about the thing that hadn't happened, didn't happen, but the thing did. So tho the "future" was our conversation, and the event, we changed the future by not having the convo as part of it. 

So... no predestiny!

@harebones inspired me to restart some #FediCoven Questions, and this one sprang to mind. So, I'm just randomly chucking it out there, as I'm genuinely curious.

See, while I have a sense of divination and do tend to scry, do some pyromancy, interpret natural omens, and have a sense of what's on someone's path, to me, it feels like a river. You might not be able to perpetually swim upstream, but within the flow, you can make your own choices. But on some level, that would imply I believe reality is at least partially deterministic. In a sense, that life sets the music, but you're free to dance to it the way you see fit. But when I do any sort of reading for someone, I can feel things that are likely to be on their path, but it's not set in stone until it is written.

Perhaps it's a limitation of my abilities, but if it is, that means I concede there is more truth, more insight into the future to be gleamed. Which would mean I subscribe to a certain level of predestination in reality. Which doesn't feel correct either.
