As of January 26, 2026, there are 29 laboratory-confirmed cases of E. coli reported in the following provinces: British Columbia (4), Alberta (12), Saskatchewan (6), Manitoba (2), Ontario (2), New Brunswick (2) and Newfoundland and Labrador (1)

The Public Health Agency of Canada (#PHAC) has released a new Public Health Notice regarding an Outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to Rea brand Genoa salami and Bona brand Genova salami.
As of June 11, 2025, there are 13 laboratory-confirmed cases of Salmonella reported in the Ontario outbreak.
