Die #Rente ist sicher, nein, das ist sie nicht, doch, wir müssen nur ganz fest daran glauben: Die Diskussion um die Rente ist in den letzten Jahren das Dauerthema.

Ende letztes Jahr schien es fast, als würde sie für einen Regierungsbruch sorgen. Der wurde abgewendet, der Eindruck, dass bei diesem Thema vor allem junge Menschen über den Tisch gezogen werden, bleibt bei vielen. Abhilfe sollte eine eigens dafür ins Leben gerufene Kommission leisten. Die hat Vorschläge für eine Rente der Zukunft gemacht, die Regierung daraus einen Gesetzesentwurf.

Aber was verändert sich dadurch für uns, wie teuer wird es und vor allem: Kann das die Rente retten?

Und hier noch eine genauere Erklärung zur neuen privaten #Altersvorsorge:

Ab 2027 soll jede Bank ein "leicht verständliches" Produkt für die private Altersvorsorge anbieten. Das soll den Einstieg in die private Altersvorsorge erleichtern.

All the other pension offices - English, German, private and government - cleared the paperwork within two weeks.

Had I known this 20 years ago when I signed up....

Wir brauchen einen solidarischen Rentendeckel. Niemand braucht 8.000, 10.000 oder 15.000 Euro Rente oder Pension im Monat. Viele Rentner müssen jeden Euro umdrehen. Mein Vorschlag: Bei 6.000 Euro netto ist Schluss. Alles darüber fließt in die Stärkung kleiner und mittlerer Renten. Solidarität heißt, dass niemand im Alter arm sein darf, nicht dass Reiche immer mehr bekommen.

Frankly speaking, 'pensions' are no longer workable in modern times because they are a huge financial burden that all governments cannot bear. The change to a system similar to the one in Singapore is more appropriate. Both the individual through monthly deductions from his salary and the employer, provide a monthly sum to a Provident Fund which is only accessible on retirement or listed causes.
