I bought this #pelargonium cheaply from a nursery nearly ten years ago. It is a short, slow-growing plant that needs shelter from the harsh sun in summer. I have managed to grow several more from cuttings, one of which you can see to the left of the main plant.

The pelargonium butterfly (Cacyreus marshalli) lays its eggs on pelargonium flowers. The larvae feed on the sap and eventually destroy the stems.
