#MealyCupSage is so giving and it’s longevity is quite something else.

I’ve featured this before a couple of times and this public garden in #Kew #Australia and these have been going strong, for almost four months now.

It’s blue / purplish spears remain vibrant even now late in its flowering cycle. I hope the gardeners keep these in for some time yet, as I sense they still have a ways to go.

To loud protest from my sons, I pulled the handbrake and made a beeline for this gorgeous #mealycupsage, also known as #mealysage.

It is native to #Mexico and parts of the United States including #Texas and #Oklahoma.

Violet-blue spikes are the main feature of this plant along with the markings on some petals which looks like they’re glossy and shining - and the leaves on this, are green as can be.

So visually appealing.

And the bees love this one too 🐝🐝🐝
