👆 I just want more people to know #paperWasps are a great #pollinators in the garden. They’re docile, or timid, and never bother you while #gardening. They’re more slender than yellow jackets and nests in eves and crevices, making the honeycomb hive.

Can confirm everything said about Paper Wasps ☹️ - also stings may/ can reactivate old stings by some ants. Best to stay right away if you see them or their nests. 😐

Paper Wasp nest I recently spotted after the foliage died down. Suspect it may have been Baldfaced Hornets. Never noticed it last summer even though I walked by within 20 feet a zillion times...
