#Insects are often forgotten during a #heatwave #drought. Not all can walk on deep water in #birdbaths. I use flowerpot coasters filled with some stones and fallen mossy branches. When a lot of moss fell down from an old tree, I filled one mainly with the dried moss. Surprise: it slowly gets green again and much smaller insects can land and drink, even butterflies come! And bigger animals.
