Another edible plant from our garden: A tassel hyacinth (Muscari comosum).

Its bulbs are considered a delicacy in southern Italy (#Lampascioni) and on the island of Crete (#Ascodulaki). They are said to be very tasty; however, according to various reports preparation is a mess because they contain a sticky fluid. I still want to try some.

Beautiful flower in our garden, most likely an “oyster plant” (Tragopogon porrifolius). Its leaves can be cooked as #horta (Greek boiled vegetables), and its roots are edible as well.
