Our national security agencies have been operating above the law when it comes to marginalized communities for years.
NCCM worked hard with MP Salma Zahid to build out a bill that requires that national security agencies fulfil their “duty of candour” obligations.
MP Salma Zahid's Bill C-331 is a real step toward making sure that security agents and officials do not lie in court for narrow gains.

We have been greatly distressed to learn about an apparent violent hate crime at a Markham mosque, where an individual yelled slurs, tore up a Qur'an, and attempted to run down worshippers in his vehicle.
