I have such respect for Rachel Notley. Smart, tough, fair, pragmatic, even in the face of the greatest challenges and the most unhinged personal attacks. When she was premier and I was a political columnist critiquing her government and its missteps, I was always impressed with her integrity and professionalism. As a new Senator, I witnessed first hand the fierce way she fought for Alberta in Ottawa. Filling her big (albeit literally tiny) shoes will not be easy. #RachelNotley #Alberta #ableg
