The Home Office sent me an email about making my BRP invalid.
(as, of course, my uk born citizen friends tell me would never happen, when I told them years ago I expected this. They’re cynical and poor too btw. Idk how this is even a question?)So I tried to make the stupid account online, on the second reminder email that made me realise it wasn’t a scam or joke.
(Context: used to work in IT support, effectively. I know how to look at help menus, user forums, spam folders, etc.)Couldn’t do it. Used their contact form. Got an email saying I can’t make an account because my address is not on the list to be notified about it yet.
Their ‘support’ message happened to originate from a no-reply email address, because of fucking course it did.

I especially love one Brit in particular, but holy hell, their country is trying to kill me in so many ways. Their people ignore it and accuse me of insanity, cruelty, idiocy and more whenever I literally repeat what my evidence-documented experience is.
I don’t even care about the misgendering. Just give me my new BRP. Put gender ‘M’ for all it makes a difference in my daily life.
Just acknowledge that the systems in place are fucking stupid but also working precisely as intended:

It constantly surprises me that I see competent professionals tooting things relating to their work. The information they give is great, and makes sense, so I assume they are definitely actually competent professionals.
But if they are, then how do they find the time to share anything? Because I don't.
The unfortunate answer I plague myself with is usually "Well maybe I am not a competent professional"

The mega city is constantly having to find ways to export #inferiorityComplex to maintain #culturalDominance. Speaking mostly of #London/#NewYork. If every country had one, as they were in the last century, even with #nuclear, it wouldn't be sustainable.
