Don’t let #Grifters and those they’ve *bought* tell you that nationalisation is a *communist* threat. Of course they would say that, they have a lot at stake in #StateCapture. And the now more than 40yo #NeoLiberal (neo-classical) economy is predicated on deregulated markets (especially financial markets) and globalisation.
But *everything* in a *Social Democracy* is **Publicly owned** until it is bought or acquired by a private individual or a corporation. Hence, every private enterprise operates on the basis of an assumed social licence. That license can be revoked at any time.
Govt (public wealth) subsidies and bailouts ought to be offset by assets transfers to public ownership, anything else is weatlh transfers to the #Rich and #Wealthy of the #RentierClass exacerbating the #WealthEquity gap in society. How else can this gap be breached if not by #TaxingTheRIch or #Nationalisation of failing enterprises, especially where public infrastructure is concerned.

The trouble with #Fandom is that it's so erratic. It wants more of the same, but when it gets more of the same it wants something different; and when it gets something different it wants to go back to more of the same.

They’ve all succumbed to #AIPsychosis, assuredly a neurological condition with built-in #Denialism, with the only known cure being #Insolvency followed by #StockMarketCrash and global #EconomicCollapse.
In parallel, the question that is really bugging me is: why do #RightWing nut jobs keep banging their heads against a wall? Do they suffer from a similar type of neurological impairment? I originally thought they were all motivated to behave like they do because of particular unresolved character flaws that I conflatingly call ‘victimhood’. A self flagellation of the soul. A longing to be confirmed martyrs and pitied as such while raging at the world as the cause of their affliction — the circulatity is staggering. A condition recently appearing to be of epidemic proportion.

“…rather than developing policies for Australia’s actual economic, social and environmental challenges, the Australian right wants to import a prefab Trump–Farage–CPAC culture war that has never borne any electoral fruit in the past. So why do they keep doing it? Because it’s cheaper than developing the serious policy work, it’s far more angry than decent democratic debate, and it’s a lot easier than governing competently.” (NOTE: I have reservations about the claim of electoral ineffectiveness)

This is so bloody obvious to anyone spending a little time thinking about critical social services. Which begs the question: ‘if the polies also know this, why has this been allowed to continue?’ And the usual govt response is:’It’s comlicated.’ Well, not it’s not. #StateCapture does not work for the whole of society and only serves to increase wealth transfer to the top end of town while lowering the quality of services until they’re no longer effective. The only complications are the self-interests of #Grifters hell bent on increasing their wealth at the cost of everyonw else. It’s high time this #Theft is stopped.

It’s time to accept that essential infrastructure is too important to be left to private monopolies and duopolies, regulated or otherwise.”

When I post anywhere about writing process these days, I get disingenuous comments from all these bots and grifters trying to sell me editing, book design, marketing and other (probably scam) publishing services. They should be banished to whatever rotten hole on the internet they crawled out of and sealed away till the end of time. (Just watch them comment on this post. I wouldn't put it past them).

Of course, as with all electoral agenda, the proof will be in the pudding. But I agree with you that #AlboPM needs to change strategies and open up the party and its alliances in Parliament for the better good of society. The #Grifters and the #CorporateHyenas can look after themselves without subsidies. Markets will adapt (they always have) to socially responsible economic changes.After all what is the worst that can happen? We’ll all need to work? Profits might be reasonable? Everyone will pay their fair share of taxes? Wealth equity? Equal opportunities? Effective public discourse? Informed voting? Stronger democratic institutions? Transparent and accountable institutions? The list is quite long and I’d be prepared to go go through some ‘rough’ times to get any number of them done.
