I’ve wondered about this for years now; I cover town board meetings and meetings of the Vilas County board and some of its committees for the newspaper I work for. For several years, I’d been saying it the way my mom and dad did when they were kids - without “under God” as that was added in 1954. Since Roe v Wade was overturned, I’ve rarely said it and now, I shall refuse to utter a word of it. Stick a fork in the U.S. - it’s done.

I’ve been hospitalized for awhile and still have to take things easy for a bit. And then I open up my Facebook a few days ago, and what do I see but the announcement about the change in Twitter’s iconic logo.
Honestly at this point, I am DONE with Twitter and the drama.

I used to work in #Boston TV news and can confirm that everything @Johncdvorak and @adam say about Television Biz in general is 110% true no exaggeration.
The worst moment for me personally was watching people in the newsroom high five each other for being the first on the scene showing the blood on the street after an abortion clinic shooting.. after that I got out of the biz... #imdone #itm #tyfyc
