I just listened to an inspiring conversation about what the future would look like if organizations shared power differently. Was mir nahe an Soziokratie 30 zu sein scheint, ist #Holocracy, ein Framework zur Zusammenarbeit, das einige Companies ausprobiert haben. Das Versprechen ist, durch Verwendung des Framworks und fixer Regeleinhaltung quasi "automatisch Augenhöhe" etc zu erreichen.

#Decentralization is when the teams & individuals who do the actual work also bear the #responsibility for their teams' performance, and when these #teams can-may-want-should-must (!) take their own decisions. Meaning not just decisions needed for solving customer problems!

If you look at decentralization this way, you will notice that it is not at all like #delegation, "circles" or (worse) #consent!

#RedHat's Open Decision Framework is another take on the the Open Enterprise Governance Model described by #BetterMeans. There are other models folks have been describing, like #Sociocracy and #Holocracy. I'd love to see an analysis of the range of scales each of these work best at, and how to transition between them as your org experiences growth and degrowth:
