Today I decided to move to #diyhrt and to stop doing the private thing (#gendergp).

One video and a few hours of research and cross checking things, and it's going to save me money, give me more control, provide me with more data.

I'll not be able to get letters and things like that, but I'm not sure it's worth staying with them just for those things.

Am going to go to sleep happy with this ☺️

Just bought my last legal estrogel, from here on ought it’s the grey and black markets only… 🏴‍☠️

I paid ≈80€ for these four bottles, plus whatever huge amount of money went to #GenderGP for this and the previous prescription that I got before telling them to go fuck themselves.

My previous source with the nice Russian accent charges the same for three bottles + 25€ shipping flat

Felicitas charges 40€ per bottles (if you buy three or more) + 14€ shipping, though her bottles have a much higher concentration and supposedly last for three month instead of ten days. But you have to pay with cryptocurrencies.

It would really be nice to live in a country with a functional healthcare system…

#gendergp is so weird... First prescription renewal coming up, but do they renew automatically, whilst communicating so? Or do I have to book an appointment and talk to someone to request a new prescription? Or is there a form somewhere to fill in to say yes it's going well, please send more meds?

I've no idea what happens because they've communicated nothing 🤷

Just handed in my second prescription from #GenderGP that I had lying around for a while, which means that I am now kinda out of legal options for #OpenHRT, once I’ve run though my remaining stock and the stuff that I ordered today. I still haven’t decided what to do after that.

I think gel is still the preferable option since I might be able to get that from my endo once I have one (If they tell me to use pills, I’ll have them explain in detail to me, why they are putting me at a higher risk than I was at when self-medicating).

In that case there are four options:

* The grey market
* Flying to Portugal or Spain and buying there
* Homebrewers
* Mixing it myself (aka #BathtubEstrogen)

I’m kinda still leaning towards the first one, but at ≈100€ a month number 3 and 4 are enticing, NGL.

In any case, fuck the gatekeepers, fuck the Dutch hellcaresystem, fuck VUMC.

Back from my GP to request a blood test…

I told them about doing #OpenHRT, that there is no way in hell that I’ll ever stop, that #GenderGP didn’t work out, and that #Psytrans told me to get bimonthly blood-test, that I have a gut-feeling that my E is still low but that I would prefer to adjust my dose based on measurements and not gut-feelings.

You would think that that would be enough to prescribe a simple #BloodTest, but instead there was a lot of concern-trolling and I was told that they’ll call me back later today after they discussed it amongst colleagues.

Let’s see…

And I’m serious: If they don’t give me a blood test, I will increase the dose even if it is only to spite them. Fuck all Gatekeepers!

Just brought my GenderGP-prescription to the pharmacy next to me.

98€ for 4×80g Oestrogel

My grey-market seller takes

92.28€ for 3×80g Gynokadin
+ 25€ flat for shipping to Europe

In other words: The Pharmacy IS cheaper, but it really makes no sense once you factor in how expensive #GenderGP is.

Also means that the grey market markup is notable, but not to the point of being outrageous.

It's still unlikely that your GP surgery will agree, but it's worth a try to reduce your costs.

If you're in #Wales, #Scotland, or #NorthernIreland, just remove the paragraph about the NHS Constitution, as that's for #England only.

Just had my third appointment with psytrans (my gender-clinic) and it seems that the likely thing is that I may end up with a diagnosis from them by the 2nd of February. They will then refer me to an independent psychologist who has to confirm that which may involve another month of waiting for an appointment. After that we would look for a hospital to start #HRT…

So in short this sounds like there’ll be about two more months until I can start HRT officially. 😊︎

On the other hand #GenderGP should now send me a prescription for #Finasteride and #Estrogen any day now, so if that works I could start a bit early… 😈​
