  1. Does anyone know why #brits call it meethane? There is no #englishspelling ng rule that gives it that long E that I can think of. #Estrogen #ethane #methane. Meanwhile, they pronounce #ethanol with a short E, even though its the same root word as ethane
  2. Sag es mit Senf:

"Sag. Deine Freundin, die kürzlich als trans herausgekommen ist, nimmt..."

  3. Today is 10 years to the day since I took my first #HRT

To celebrate, I coordinated with the calendar when I first switched to injections so I'd have one today :)

This year has a lot of "it's been an entire decade since" moments for my #transition

  4. @theleftistlawyer @shansterable

    I support #standardization of #medical #licensing for #providers and #facilities (#doctors' #offices, #hospitals, #longtermCare, etc.).

I oppose government intrusion into the provider #patient #relationship.

If a #woman is using #estrogen patches, it's none of your business why.

Same for a #man using #testosterone. If he's trying to #cheat at #sports, the #league can manage it.

    #Rogaine and #Viagra are gender-affiriming care.

  5. #PSA for young #MTF #Transwomen getting #Estrogen / #Estradiol via pills...

I don't recommend pills over Patches or Injections, but if you take them, you need to let them dissolve under your tongue: do not swallow them whole. You want estradiol solutes in your mouth/esophagus that your flesh will absorb directly with the water, not to go through your digestive system which will either break it down or filter it out.

Again, most people who've been doing this a while recommend Injections or Patches over pills, simply because those have easier and better absorbtion.

  6. I suspect I had a lot of natural #Androgen, but when I complained about my "female issues" (irregular or no periods) I was prescribed #Estrogen which did NOT agree with me at all. It wasn't until I hit #menopause that I realized that estrogen had been the problem. And finally felt like my real self again!
