Sir Chris Whitty, the UKs former Chief Medical Officer for the UK government recently voiced his support for the #CassReview , stating that it's a "very sensible review", while also saying too many "non experts" are wading into the "debate".
Given he's a literal physician, he should know that Dr Hillary Cass has no credentials in gender medicine, and used a shit tonne of sources from TERFs to back up her report. Doesn't sound very sensible to me 🤔 #UK #Trans #LGBTQIA

The #CassReview may well have taken that skill and inverted it's use.Thereby producing recommendations for transgender healthcare that are dangerous, contrary to established clinical practice and instead completely in line with the anti-transgender political propaganda of neo-fascism.

There's currently a live petition to call for a review of the Cass report, although it has met the threshold for a government response (CW: Transphobic govt response), if we can achieve 100,000 signatures this petition will be considered for debate in Parliament and can get more publicity.

Calling on #Starmer, British Prime Minister, to appoint a Statutory Public Inquiry Into the #CassReview.
The public have grave concerns that it was inadequately prepared and that it has been used to justify inadequate medical treament of #Transgender people. If the Cass Review is found as inadequate as it appears then the mechanisms which resulted in the review's inadequacies need to be investigated and made public knowledge.

UKGOV is taking the Cass Review more seriously than all the climate change studies which are demanding action NOW.
Doesn't matter it does not reflect the Scientific consensus, doesn't matter it'll harm people, JK Rowling and other Oligarchs have declared open season on Trans People and politicians will follow suit.
